Archaeological Finds

Recent reveals:

In June 2014, after the repairs to the Nave roof (damage from Death Watch Beetle) an upgrade of the roof drainage system was required.

This required a soak-away to be constructed in the pathway to the church.   During excavation work a total of seven sets of remains were exposed.

All remains disturbed have been recorded, photographed and bagged prior to being reinterred in the excavation by the Archaeologist.

Some of the photos of the find are shown.
